- PC's are cheaper(for the most part).
- They come in many different packages from many different companies which gives the consumer alot more choice in styling, power, quality, etc.
- Many upgrades available at a different range of prices.
- More widely available at many different stores.
- More expensive.
- Are all more or less alike.
- And they are made by Apple completely which does not really give the consumer a choice in different styles, colors, there are a few power options, but no real room for customization.
- Replacement parts or hardware add-ons are very expensive.
- Sold at very few stores.
Although on the other hand PC's offer very good qualities also. They are easy to use(whether an OS is easier to use than the other is highly debatable), offer a wide range of different styles, and will not make you break the bank if your low on cash. The wide range of upgrades allow the user to expand the systems capabilities very easily. Also in case anything goes wrong, something breaks, etc there is a lot more options out there for the PC user. There are many more tech's who can do the job(and are certified to do so), and the replacement parts will be much cheaper. Now-a-days one could buy(or build) a decent system for a fraction of what a Mac costs. Although no matter how fast or good your Windows PC may be, it will always be very virus prone.
The Bottom Line:
There is no clear winner and the debate will continue to exist as long as computers are around. I think it is merely a fact of mere opinion and the amount of money one is willing to/has the ability to spend. In my opinion I'm a Mac convert. I firmly believe that Mac's are better for the common user but many people will debate that. To me Mac's are simply built better all around, more reliable, and are very easy on the eyes.
What do you think?Any comments or suggestions?
